Project Giving Light

REGISTRATION CLOSED!

 

Project Giving Light is a nonprofit that serves foster and underserved kids all across the U.S. and (Armenia too) with Birthday boxes!

 

These  Birthday Boxes are filled with essentials and loaded up with fun gifts, homemade birthday cards and a Christian devotional. These “joy bombs” bring love, value and celebration to these kids in hard circumstances. They make them feel seen, known and loved. 

 

At this volunteer opportunity we will be packing boxes for kids of all ages in their incredible warehouse.  

Time: 12:00pm - 2:00pm

Location: 220 Newport Center Drive #11, Suite 346, Newport Beach 92660

  • All ages welcome!

  • Children must be supervised by an adult.

  • Must wear closed toed shoes and comfortable clothing.

OC Rescue Mission

REGISTRATION CLOSED!

 

The OC Rescue Mission is a faith based organization that helps families over come homelessness and become financially self sufficient.  

On this day, we will be working in the kitchen, warehouse, and clothing room.  

Time: 9:00am - 11:00am

Location: One Hope Drive Tustin, CA 92782

  • Children must be 10 yrs and older

  • Children must be supervised by an adult.

  • Must wear closed toed shoes.

 

*Since this project requires children to be a bit older, there will be a do-at-home project option available for the younger participants.  This option will be free for families to participate in.  If you are interested in this option, please email Stephanie at: Projectletitshine@gmail.com

Gold Rush Cure Foundation

REGISTER NOW!

Gold Rush Cure is an organization that provides custom gifts to support and encourage children during their fight with childhood cancer and any siblings they may have.  Childhood cancer affects the whole family and Gold Rush Cure strives to be sure that everyone feels included when the "Pot of Gold" is delivered.  

At this serve opportunity we will be assembling these boxes!

Time: 11:00am - 1:00pm

Location: Tommy Lasorda Field House Community Room, Yorba Linda

  • Children must be 10 yrs and older

  • Children must be supervised by an adult.

  • Must wear closed toed shoes.
